Global Engagement & Outreach (GEO) works closely with OpenBand Labs, an M.C. Dean, Inc. operating group, that specializes in R&D and software solution architecture for the Collaborative Web and Mobile capabilities.

Openband Labs designs and builds web-based environments for distributed enterprises and people on the move -- where units are spread across offices or continents. It develops and assembles software components leveraging "best of web" capabilities that encourage inter- and intra-organizational collaboration. Often these components are drawn from and returned to Open Source communities, which makes for agile innovation.

GEO's intimate knowledge of the operational context combined with a presence onsite with customers adds valuable insight throughout the technical development cycle. By understanding clients' needs and priorities, GEO feeds developers use case scenarios and behavioral models. As beta testing and rollout begin, GEO coordinates the process often conducting training and promoting adoption by making sure the technology integrates into the organizational work flow.
